Associate Director of Academic Operations and Strategic Initiatives

Kaitlyn Pereyra is the Associate Director of Academic Operations and Strategic Initiatives in the Division of Academic and Career Success. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in International and Intercultural Education from Florida International University. She began her career at FIU in 2010 working with the graduate programs in the College of Education. She later served as the College’s Assistant Director of Enrollment Management and Special Projects. In 2016, Kaitlyn became the Director of Enrollment and Student Success for the newly integrated College of Arts, Sciences & Education.
Kaitlyn joined the Division of Academic and Career Success in 2018. She leads the Division’s new Strategic Initiatives and Data Coaching team. In this role, she implements strategic programs and projects in support of the university’s student success goals. Through the use of data analytics, she works closely with college and university leaders to identify important areas of focus and to develop high impact strategies for improvement related to academic operations impacting student retention, graduation, and employment.
