Dedicated to Every Panther’s Success

The Division of Academic and Career Success (ACS) is at the core of student success at Florida International University. We provide services to help students every step of the way – from academic advising, to career planning, to life coaching.

We look for innovative solutions to the challenges that college life presents to our Panthers. Our division spearheads university-wide campaigns to increase student retention, engagement, on-time graduation, employment, and overall well-being.

Get Advising

You need to meet with your advisor at least once a semester. An advisor can help you choose classes, register and plan for graduation. If academic guidance isn’t what you need, try talking with a College Life Coach for everything else.

Plan For Your Career

Close to graduation? Need work experience? Looking for an internship? You need career services. Learn about the Career & Talent Development Department. They can help you with your resume, interview skills or connect you with the right employers.

Get Involved

You’re not making the most of FIU if you aren’t getting involved. Attend an event to see what’s out there. If you really want something new, try attending a different college for a semester.
